At MadDad, we aim to spread love, hope, and encouragement to those who struggle with fitting in, mental health, and self-doubt. Our sticker project reminds people that they are the perfect fit for their own lives, and that their stories matter. We want to inspire individuals to recognize that they are loved and supported, even when they feel alone or misunderstood. We honor the memory of our dad Ron, who found love and acceptance from his family despite his challenges. His story is a powerful reminder that everyone deserves love and support, and that no one should feel like an outsider. MadDad is committed to spreading this message of hope and inclusivity, and we invite you to join us.
- Ronald Allen
Ronald Edward Allen, a PGA Golf Professional, passed away at the age of 71. He was widely known for his love of golf, his ability to teach the game, and his achievement of five hole-in-ones throughout his lifetime. Ron was a multifaceted person who had a challenging mental health journey and sometimes used his big personality as a mask.
Ron was a person of deep complexity, finding beauty in those who suffered, and possessing a unique talent for capturing people’s attention with his stories. In his honor, his children have started a project for individuals who have experienced mental health struggles, as well as those who love someone who is struggling.
